Hosta 'Captain's Adventure' is a curious sport of H. 'Captain Kirk', at the beginning of the season it looks like its "Captain Kirk'. The margin then turns white and the leaf lightens and there is then a streaking appearance whilst at the same time the leaves become rugose and fold upwards, with a slight cupping effect.
